Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 5, 2026

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. This page lists every cookie the Tidypage website uses, why, and for how long.

In short: we only use cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work and to keep it secure. We use no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no tracking of any kind.

1. The cookies we use

All the cookies below are first party cookies (set by tidypage.app itself), and all are strictly necessary.

Cookie Purpose Duration
__Secure-authjs.session-token Keeps you signed in to your client dashboard after you open your sign in link. Only set once you sign in. 30 days, renewed while you use your dashboard. Deleted when you sign out.
__Host-authjs.csrf-token Protects the sign in form against cross site request forgery (an attack where another website tries to act in your name). Until you close your browser
__Secure-authjs.callback-url Remembers which page to bring you back to after you sign in. Until you close your browser
tp_cookie_choice Remembers your choice in the cookie banner, so we do not ask you again on every page. 6 months

The session and security cookies cannot be read by scripts running in the page, are only sent over secure connections, and are not sent when another website links to ours.

On our test and development versions, the same cookies may appear without the __Secure or __Host prefix.

2. Payment page

When you pay, you leave tidypage.app for Stripe Checkout, a page run by Stripe. Stripe may set its own cookies on its page, for example to prevent fraud. These are governed by Stripe's own cookie policy, available on stripe.com. Our own pages do not load Stripe scripts.

On your first visit, a banner asks for your choice.

  1. Accept and Decline are shown side by side, with the same size and the same prominence. Declining takes one click, exactly like accepting.
  2. Nothing that is not strictly necessary is loaded before you make a choice, and nothing is loaded if you decline.
  3. Today, the site has no cookies that need your consent. Your choice is recorded so that, if we ever add an optional tool in the future, it stays off unless you have agreed to it. In that case we will update this page and ask you again.
  4. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, because the site cannot work securely without them. They are set whatever you choose, but only when needed (for example, the session cookie only when you sign in).

4. How to change your choice

  1. Click Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to open the banner again and change your choice.
  2. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. If you delete the session cookie, you will need to sign in again. If you block all cookies, you will not be able to sign in to your dashboard.

5. More information

How we handle personal data in general is explained in our Privacy Policy. For any question, write to hello@tidypage.app.
